Business Development Specialist

Job Summary

The Business Development Specialist will initiate sales lead strategies for our Business Development Team. This position is the first-line face of the marketing of products and services. In addition to a creative mind and out-of-the-box thinking, the position requires the dedication that comes with the passion for sales.

Primary Job Duties

To be successful, incumbent must exercise discretion and independent judgment in opening doors with new customers, cooperate closely with the Business Development Team, communicate effectively with the Operations team ensuring customer expectations are managed appropriately to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, and represent Bosque Disposal Systems, LLC in a professional and ethical manner at all times.

  • Research and identify potential opportunities for new business lines
  • Identify and generate potential leads through various channels such as cold calls, emails, etc.
  • Qualify leads based on predetermined criteria to assess their potential for sales engagement
  • Set appointments and meetings for Sales Managers
  • Attend sales meetings, lunch and learn meetings and other face to face interactions with customers
  • Organize and maintain a digital marketing campaign
  • Organize and attend corporate market events promoting our products and services
  • Collaborate with the Business Development Team on lead generation strategies 
  • Tracks all lead generation activities for management and documentation of activity
  • Track and report on key performance metrics to measure effectiveness and optimize strategies

Required Competencies / Prerequisites

  • Experience in sales support, inside sales, or lead generation is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and lead generation tools.
  • Strong research and data analysis skills.
  • Goal-oriented and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Competencies / Prerequisites

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/ Marketing
  • Experience in Oil & Gas industry or other applicable industries
  • Knowledge of water treatment units and/or saltwater disposal operations.
  • Knowledge of completions operations.
  • Knowledge of Bosque Chemicals and Solutions.
